This year, the Roger Cotton Prize for the best paper published in Histopathology (in 2005) went to Dr Katharina Pauls, from Bonn, for her paper on PDGFR-alpha and c-kit mutated GISTs (Histopathology 2005;46:166-175)

After the Dinner on the 24th November 2006, during the BDIAP Scientific meeting on Breast Pathology, the new President, Professor Claude Cuvelier, presented the Division's Cunningham Medal for service to the British Division to the retiring Treasurer of the Division, Dr Alec Howat.

At the same event, Professor Cuvelier also presented the President's Medal for service to education in pathology to Professor Bryan Corrin.
