BDIAP SPONSORED TRAINING OF OVERSEAS
TRAINEES
(Sponsored Training Bursaries)
The
BDIAP has made funds available to sponsor a limited number of trainees in Histopathology for
short periods of training (up to three months) in British laboratories.
Applicants
are invited to apply from countries where the BDIAP has existing Schools of
Pathology i.e. Arab countries, Sri Lanka, Bosnia and East Africa.
The
grants are for a maximum of £5,000 to include travel, accommodation and
subsistence costs.
Applicants
must provide 2 references and show a lack of local funding. A good knowledge of
the English language is essential.

Applications should be
received by 30th November 2010 and will only be considered if two references are received
Applications will be considered by the Education & IT Subcommittee and successful applicants will be notified by e mail.
