British Division of the International Academy of Pathology2nd BDIAP one-day seminar for trainees in histopathology |
This is an ideal revision day for trainees at all stages, as well as those preparing to sit the MRCPath Part 2. It will cover practical aspects of laboratory techniques, a subject not covered in depth by other teaching courses. The day will include an introduction to the additional techniques that are routinely used in our day-to-day practice, such as immunocytochemistry and special stains. There will also be a session on frozen sections, to include a slide seminar for which slides will be available to preview prior to the course.
